If you’ve already been to Mary Mart’s Musician Hour, you know how incredible it is. As each Musician Hour comes by, they keep getting better and better! Our last show in July is no exception.
July’s show was a special one. It was the first show to be sponsored by a vendor, Pilot Cannabis. Plus, licensed massage therapist Paula Davidson gave free massages to artists and audience members in-house during the performances!
Hosted by our very own Terrance P., here are the show highlights from July:
Bailey Ukulele
Our first performer of the evening was returning Musician Hour favorite, Bailey Ukulele! This singer and songwriter played a mix of covers and originals. He set the stage for chill summer vibes with his folk punk music and brought the crowd in for the evening. Check out his Facebook to see where you can find him next!
Sam Bogle
Yet another favorite on the Mary Mart stage, Sam Bogle graced us once again! Sam performed original songs as well as covers, including a cover mashup seamlessly put together. His smooth vocals and excellent guitar skills always swoon the crowd and this time was no different. If you missed him this time, make sure to check out his music on Soundcloud.
Stephanie
New to the stage for our latest show was singer, songwriter, and guitar player, Stephanie! She wowed the crowd with a set of her original bluesy/folk rock music. Her songs were both relaxing and badass, and full of stories and meaning. Plus, she hosts the open mic at Odd Otter so you can catch her out there, too! Check out more info on Stephanie here.
Lemonade Drae
Returning to the Musician Hour stage for his second time was DJ and producer Lemonade Drae! He blessed the audience once again with his seamless production of R&B and hip-hop beats and samples. His music — perfect for a smoke sesh with friends — put the shop in a laid back mood. Take a listen to his beats on Soundcloud!
Hezza Fezza
The crowd fell in love with another new artist to our stage, Hezza Fezza! This singer and songwriter from Germany got the audience dancing to her unique indie/hip-hop/electro music. She put on an amazing show from her smooth dance moves to hitting high notes. She even surprised the audience with a couple unreleased songs! You can check out her first released album on Spotify.
Tha Wurm
Headlining for the show’s sponsor, Pilot Cannabis, and gracing our stage a second time was singer/songwriter Jeramey Abarca aka Tha Wurm! He rounded the show out with his smooth ska music and played his guitar beautifully. The large crowd chilled out to his cool vibes. It was the perfect ending to the Musician Hour! Check out Tha Wurm on Spotify.
If you still haven’t attended Mary Mart’s Musician Hour, don’t sleep on it! Each show is now only held every other month so you don’t want to miss out. Free live music, awesome deals, and a great atmosphere — you can’t go wrong!
